Vegan Materials & Quality
Are Solari Milano shoes truly vegan?
Yes. Every Solari Milano shoe is 100% vegan and PETA-Approved. We use no animal-derived materials in the upper, lining, soles, glues, or finishes. Materials include corn-based bio-leather, organic hemp, recycled microfibers, water-based glues, and natural rubber for soles.
What materials do you use?
Solari Milano uses certified vegan materials: corn-based bio-leather, organic hemp, recycled microfibers, water-based glues, and natural rubber for soles. All materials are animal-free, solvent-free, and produced without chrome tanning. Explore our vegan shoe collection to see them in action.
Where are Solari Milano shoes made?
Handcrafted in family-run workshops in Italy. Shoes are made in the Marche region and belts in Varese. Blake construction is used for durability and repairability.
Are your shoes durable?
Yes. Our shoes are built to last with proper care, comparable to traditional leather footwear. Blake construction allows the sole to be replaced.
How do vegan shoes compare to leather?
Modern vegan materials like corn-based bio-leather and organic hemp perform similarly to traditional leather in durability, breathability, and appearance. They are produced with lower environmental impact. Vegan shoes also tend to require less break-in time.

Sizing
What size should I order?
Solari Milano shoes fit true to size using standard European sizing. If you usually wear a 42 EU, order the 42. If you have a wider foot or prefer extra comfort, size up by half a size.
For belts, take your waist measurement in centimeters and add 15 cm — this corresponds to the middle hole of the belt. For example, a 90 cm waist = 105 cm belt.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Shipping within Italy takes 1-3 business days. European deliveries arrive in 3-5 business days. Shipping outside Europe takes 4-7 business days. Please be aware that these are estimated timelines and can be subject to changes due to external factors. All orders ship from our Milan warehouse with tracked, insured couriers.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer free shipping on orders over 100 EUR all over Europe. Standard shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order value.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery worldwide. Items must be unworn, in original packaging, with all tags attached. Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after we receive the return. To start a return, email info@solarimilano.com with your order number.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes. Size exchanges are accepted within 14 days. Email info@solarimilano.com with your order number and desired size. We send a prepaid return label and ship the new size as soon as we receive your original pair.
Shoe Care
How do I care for vegan shoes?
Wipe vegan shoes with a soft damp cloth after each wear. Use our vegan polish cream every 4-6 weeks to maintain suppleness. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources when drying. Insert cedar shoe trees after wearing to maintain shape and absorb moisture.
Are vegan shoes waterproof?
Solari Milano vegan shoes are water-resistant but not fully waterproof. The corn-based bio-leather repels light rain and splashes when properly maintained with our vegan polish cream. For heavy rain or prolonged wet conditions, avoid extended exposure. Wipe shoes dry immediately and allow them to dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources.
